Sampson Regional Medical Center currently seeks an MIS Application/Network Analysts.  This individual will serve as the central contact for application support, implementation training, and upgrades. System Analysts will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of user requested reports. The application analyst is responsible for the successful project management of implementation, support and maintenance of systems within their purview.  This position will operate as the single point of contact for any issues with project timelines related to their area of expertise.  The position requires interaction with end users (Physicians, Radiologists, Nurses, and other Hospital Departments) and SRMC's third party vendors.The applications specialist must develop relationships and communication channels to ensure status feedback and cooperation among these groups and will ensure that all services are performed professionally from start to finish, delivering complete customer satisfaction.  The applications specialist handles day-to-day operation of their designated systems including workflow and availability of the applications. They are also responsible for conducting system training to users. In addition, a network analyst must have expert knowledge of information systems. They must have an understanding of TCP/IP, 802.1 Ix, Cisco IOS, Windows desktop and server OS, backup technologies, server hardware technologies, patch management, and report writing tools. They must have effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to think creatively and multitask. They must be able to handle situations in a high stress environment and possess outstanding troubleshooting skill while working independently or in a team environment. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent discipline.  Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare or area applicable area of concentration.  Knowledge of CCNA, Network +, Microsoft, VMware, and/or NetApp certifications are preferred, but not required.     1st shift available; 40 hour work week with rotating weekly call, flex schedules and shift work are possible during implementation.
